Picked the Mavra Sika breba today fully ripened.

Taste

When eaten i was really happy with it and mind you im very picky when it comes to a figs taste , to my palate it was like eating a dark type mulberry fruit off a tree in Chicago. 

It was not a hint of mulberry either but the dominant one .

Yummy!

Bass i was hoping you saw the ripe breba i posted .
Have you been able to taste any from your plant .

I haven't tried any brebas of this variety yet. thanks for your report on it. I should visit the mother tree and look for some brebas.
The main tree is left uncovered all witner, so I'm not sure if brebas are not damaged in the cold.
