Those recipes look great. I can confirm that figs as a pizza topping are delicious. We did a Hawaiian pizza, but instead of ham and pineapple we did ham and fig.

We cooked the pizza and ham topping first, then we pulled out the pizza and added the fig wedges. I cooked the pizza for an additional 2 minutes and it turned out great.

It is a family favorite.
