117 degrees

Official high was actually 110 F in phoenix but my temp gauge was 117.
Figs are happy with crazy growth and lots of figs.

Man that's hot!  I'm excited to reach the 80s this weekend after a little cool spell.

Well with that temp 1 could certainly dry some figs when ripe !

It's hot in Mesa, AZ too. Wish I was as happy out in the heat as a fig tree.

But it's a DRY heat ;)  lol

Turrible in Atlanta (and probably points south of us) due to massive humidity, at 80 or so degrees.  By Father's Day, it's going to be more summerish temps with high 80s.  Hopefully, with humidity tamped down.

Be advised that there is a good chance this will be the most significant tropical weather season since 2008.  So if you have any work you need done, or anything like that...

Wow - worst spring in a long while, have not seen 60 degrees all week...

Me neither.  Night time temps in the low 70's.  Daytime into the hundreds.

(Sorry.  I saw your post and couldn't resist).

This is when we become hermits and stay inside with air condition running 24/7. Joann, it's only dry heat for a short part of the summer. Soon, the monsoons will hit and we will have both humidity and high temps when you are in a full sweat just getting in the car in the garage.. I had always heard "it's a dry heat until I moved there.". Anyways, I have escaped to So Cal. It is freezing here with typical June gloom but I'm loving it. Grunion are running now. I do worry about the figs getting watered. I set up a drip and each time I tested it, at least one doesn't work. I just hope the winds don't kick up and knock everything over. Can't really ask the neighbors to water 100+ figs. How do you really explain to someone that you have so many plants and not in the nursery business.

I wish our temperatures were in 100s. It rather has been, unusually cool for this time of the year. Days are in 70s and nights are in low 60s. Last year this time, all the trees had main crops forming, not this year.

Navid.

How about we split the difference. It been on the cool side here the past few days reaching into the upper 60's. This has not been good fig growing weather for us:(
