I study my bible almost daily dont get me wrong. its just kinda hard to have someone tell me what it means in thier opinion and if my opinion is not the same i am going to burn. i wanted to get baptised. no churck within 50 miles will do it unless i sign a pledge sheet giving my loyaty to that church. and furthermore tell me i am damned if i dont sign and get baptized. Big red flag.

look at matthew 28: 18-20,     mark 16: 15-18

they contradict thier own statments with this pledge. and are forgetting thier duty as christains. or simply tailoring what the want to to serve thier own needs. i cant be apart of that. i can get fellowship with others like myself.

"For when 2 or more are gatherd in my name, i will be there"

i think the important thing is not which church/temple/synagogue/mosque that one goes to. i think the imprtant thing is that one has the faith and believe in something that is greater than oneself.

now back to scheduled program... figs!

Well, if it happens based off of a calender; then that means the time and date will change on the other side of the world first. I'm sure I'll hear about it on the news and on-line for a good half day before it gets here.   ;) 
I'll figure it out then, I've always been a bit of a procrastinator and some of my best ideas occur at the moment.
I agree, there's plenty of figs in heaven which are all the best. Hell has plenty of figs too, they all just taste washed-out and disappointing like Brown Turkey. Maybe I'll spend that last day helping others, seeing how if it did happen there would be nobody left to pray for my poor wandering soul.
