The worst part of this is how many good and knowledgeable members you personally have caused to leave this forum.   Why Jon allows you to spew your nonsense is beyond me, it has cost the foundation thousands of dollars already.  

The new members here have to be reminded that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, have absolutely no experience growing figs.  And the only information you do give that is accurate are copy and pastes......btw we know when you are doing so because it is the only time your spelling is above the level of an average 4th grader.  Perhaps you should go back to grading gems.

Where Aaron is they have the fig wasp.  That wasp when it pollinates a fig makes the fig look very different than if it was not pollinated which is why it is hard to ID the figs Aaron is selling.  If the plants do need the wasp to produce fruit the cuttings you ordered will never produce edible fruit....they will produce figs that grow then drop.  While Aaron wants you to believe they will grow good fruit for you he has no idea.  A few months ago Aaron did not know what a fig wasp even was......(see below)......now he wants people to believe he is some sort of expert......

By the way, simply posting a link to an italian website, ficuscarica.com, in no way amounts to anything "expert." In this case, it has about as much value as posting a link to Aaron's website. Why Aaron insists on creating false buzz, when he knows that the "conscience pack" will descend on him and completely shred his credibility, bespeaks the one true goal he does have, which is to draw attention to himself. Does Aaron have a nursery license? No. Does Aaron have any professional qualifications related to horticulture? No. Is he anything more than a pesky backyard fig grower, a nouveau hobbyist with close to zero knowledge and experience? No, he is not.

I usually mind my own business, but take this as friendly advice.
Without important disclaimers, this may bite you later down the road.  You seem like a nice guy, and I know you don't have bad intentions, but listen to Wills and the others.
I know you've already sold the cuttings, but you should add disclaimers here, and especially Ebay, (if you choose that route) that these may need pollination and that they may NOT be what you think they are.  Then, leave it up to buyers to take that risk.
Again, not bashing you, but offering advice that may prevent a lot of customers hunting you down in a year or two.

As I said before , this is a free country, and I have NO obligation to follow your pack laws. So, please 
And creating a fear factor for people who appreciate Unusual and rare figs that you , obviously, can't provide won't make a difference.

I would gladly refund every cutting I have sent if a person decides to not try growing them.
I am not here to sell but make sure these wonderful , showy and delicious varieties keep thriving and survive in many years to come.
If I wanted to do this as a business I could, and I would charge much more than just $5 per cutting. They definitely are worth much more than $5.

thanks for the advise and I truly appreciate your gentler approach to this matter. I'll think about it and maybe compose an eMail to send to everyone who have attained my wonderful cuttings. On the other hand, I have never seen any company nor nursery attach a disclaimer to Fig varieties that they name and sell...so, I am not sure if I feel the need of doing anything about this, after all, the list one can get out of it is an awesome looking and superb tasting Breba. And no, I am not saying that's all they'll get out of it. 
I'll still think it over.

...and, yes, I am a nice guy and with excellent intentions.
But above all, I am very honest person who has a great passion for Figs :)

I will continue my best to help everybody whether they are a new member or old...regardless.

And I'll make sure not to be effected by people like those above, who for some reason feel intimidated by the varieties that I offer at a very low cost, something they definitely wouldn't do...well, maybe they don't want to see that kind of price because they first bought the cuttings from Jon, grew them and now they have cuttings to sell...So, they copy Jon's list and cell their own cuttings here (in this forum), with no consideration of maybe they are effecting Jon's market, to the point where Jon decides to go to eBay try to sell his cuttings, since every "Fig Grower wonnabe" decides to sell their own cuttings here in the forum openly where, ironically, this IS Jon's Forum and we all are the members of his Forum.
I have never sold or distributed anything that Jon has. I have bought from him (indirectly) many cuttings.

These are same characters who tried to stop me from reorganizing the knowledge about figs...Old is good enough they said, we don't need YOU to do something new about it , You will spoil it for all of us...LOL Seriously I lough about it overtime when I read or remember. And they thought, somehow, that they would be able to bring my moral down so I can just quit and give into their sick mental games. Are you kidding me!
Well, today, that thread has more readers than any other in the forum and I wasn't expecting for people to approach and thank me but they have and still are...I receive eMails from unheard of Fig collectors from all over the world and researchers..it has truly changed my thinking about decision making.

Yes, I know, that my decisions can be unorthodox at times but, somehow, they all fall in place and I have no regrets ;)

I have no anger towards anybody.
I do understand the concerns that rise in between but...see... without trying, we will NEVER know what the true outcome would be, whether it's a fig growing issue or rooting issue or pollination issue.

If you want a boring way of doing things, if you want to have a stagnant type of Fig life then don't buy anything NEW, stick to UCDavis and at least support Jon. Buy from him.

Otherwise ... go with your instincts.
Don't let any mental case control your decisions.

Now, I need to go back to my studies...leave me alone, LOL
