My first roots hit the side of the cup yesterday! I am actually surprised how this one is taking longer than all my other cuttings to root, out of 4 NJR cuttings only one is in a cup so-far. The other 3 are still in the bags, looking good with no concern for decomposition, but still just minding their time. 7 of 8 cuttings from 2 different varieties started the same day as NJR are in cups with roots and varying levels of sprouts.
I am excited to be adding this one to the collection. I wonder how the original mother tree faired the polar vortex last winter?
Thanks again Frank!
