2017 Cuttings to Ripe Figs in 6 months Florea Bari Troiano Calabrese

I started these cuttings in Feb 2017 now some are producing figs.  These are my first ripe figs ever. I Love the taste and very happy with the results.

Congratulations!
You have gotten results very quickly, looks like you have it down...now try to let them hang until dead ripe (still working on that one myself;))

Any pictures of the trees?

Beautiful. Do you have them in pots or in the ground?

First two pictures Florea in 5 gallon pot.  Third picture is Bari.  Fourth and Fith pictures are most of my figs plants all grown from cuttings this year.

All your plants look great!  Do they get sun all day? Do you fertilize them and if yes,  what do you use?

Wow, It is really fast growing in 6 months.

My Florea has leave like below web picture, it doesn't look the same as you.

Would you mind sharing your soil and fertilizer recipies?
thx

Those are great looking 1st year plants.

I used to pick off all figs in the first year, but this year I left fruit on most.  FWIW, I've already harvested 6-12 figs on each of 5 Improved Celeste cuttings started in December, and there are similar decent crops on a number of other varieties, including St. Rita, Nordland, Red Lebanese Bekaa, and Vasilika Zika, allstarted in Jan.

I agree with you. If plant can produce why stop.  I start pinching newly formed or smaller figs starting August 1st.  I can see other figs getting bigger and changing some colors.

Figs can have different type of leaves, it does not bother me as long as plant is healthy and producing.

Congratulations on your amazing success.

I am lucky if I get figs after three years.

Thanks Tad.  I am not an expert but may be I am lucky.  I do not understand why your figs are not producing after three years. All I know my plants gets full sun all day and using the same mix and fertilizer.

Nice pictures Naeem! I am happy for your wonderful success. Wishing you all the best for next growing season.

Thanks Ateeq you have great fig collection and your plants are excellent growing. I am very impressed with your rain water set up and will try to do next year.

Naeem, your trees look beautiful!
