Started from two pieces of cutting placed beside each other forming a X. The result is a V shaped bush. Kept in a 20 gallon pot for two yrs and planted in ground back in March.

Navid, thanks for all those images!  Today we went back to the property in Fallbrook, CA on which we lost the bid, and since the gate was open (and nobody around), and I had scissors, I took 3 decent cuttings of a tree that is dying!  Today, thanks to Ray Givan's PDF on this site, I identified it as Brunswick!  Leaf shape is classic!

All the cuttings have been stripped of leaves, and are in slightly damp spangum moss with a paper towel to absorb moisture in a zip lock wrapped in a dark towel, and I'll change the paper towel every three days so they don't get too wet.

I've heard good things about Brunswick grown in long summer conditions, and that it shall have!!

What do the figs taste like?

Suzi, hopefully next season you get to harvest some fruits from your plant. Its fruit tastes very sweet and rich. Last Aug. while I was in town for few days, it rained continuously for a day and half, figs of my plant never did split or sour.

Fantastic leaves on Brunswick, thanks for posting pics. Hope the weather allows you some fine figs from this one  

I took a photo of the leaves I stripped yesterday from my cuttings from the truly dying tree.  Please keep your fingers crossed that they survive!  This shot is of the back side.  The leaves are small, and not lush like Navid's Brunswick, but that tree hasn't been watered in probably 3 years or however long it takes for people in financial trouble to eventually lose their home..

The leaves were stiff and heavily veined, maybe because of the fear of death.  I hope the new owner doesn't cross the tree off as dead, but gives it some love.

The first cutting I took on discovery day is very green, and opening a new leaf at the tip while still in the peat moss baggie.  There are no roots yet.

Thank you Barry. The weather is dry and hot, but I will not get to eat any fruits from my plant, though. Last Dec. I transplanted it in a shady spot at back of my property. It is growing slower than when it was in full sun, but no figs to be found on it this year. This Fall I will be moving this plant to another spot where it'll get 10-12 hrs of sun during summer months.

Suzi, let me know if you want its cuttings. Late last fall before wrapping it I pruned it heavy and throw away most of the cuttings except few that went to couple of the members.
