Happy birthday Dave.
You're still a young man in my book.
Heat heat heat and more heat. This crazy weather has me 5 weeks behind and sorely missing my old 76 foot long hoop house.

August in the DC area used to be so hot and humid that British Naval officers got hazardous duty pay if they were here. Now July is the hot month and I'm wondering if my figs are ever going to ripen. My first main crop fig to ripen was a Pananas Purple that was picked a day early this morning. With all the "early varieties" I have I'm pretty shocked that ones like Florea are just sitting there.

Still young but been through a lot, army rangers right out of high school, few tours in south america (drug wars).
Bullet fragments, arthritis, broken neck, morter shapnal. Set up a drywall biz when I got out. Things where going great for a few years until the economy went in the toilet. Now I'm going to school for nursing. Will work as a cna. While going for my rn. Figured there will always be a job then.

Oh yes, RNs are ALWAYS in high demand. Are you going to try and work at a VA hospital? They need all the good people they can get!

The va hospitals around here are still to far of a drive.
