opened figs: Unknown Seattle Purple , "not" Neveralla, Adriatic (Wallingford), RdB, VdB.

They all taste good to me! (the middle one Wallingford being the sweetest!)

They look great, I feel the same about the figs that I have devoured, all taste good to me. I have not had a bad one but am still waiting for the one that is outstanding.

The Seattle Purple looks so delicious!

My tast buds are used to my purple fig, since it was all I had for about 20 years it has fruited for me. All the new ones, new flavors, looks, textures... are all great, but since I am so used to my purple.. I like it also.   I came home and run to the tree, with all the rain we had these last 2 days, they are all swollen and ripening, fallen apart... even watery, they taste really good to me.  I am happy I have it.   thanks to all for the nice comments.

Have you compared your Seattle Purple to Grantham's Royal? The fruit seems similar but I have no idea about the leaves.
