I'm changing my fig trees in bigger pots and would like to know if it is better to drain my 55 gallons containers directly underneath or to make holes about 2 inches from the bottom for a water reserve
I make mine about an inch above the bottom, on the side.

Mine are on on wood skid with wheels so i can roll it out,holes on bottom works for me
