I've only been here a couple of months... hope it's not bad form for me to post here... I've found lots of folks here to be helpful and friendly (and obviously a ton of expertise). I've been learning a lot from you folks! Here's my wish list:
1. Sal's EL / Sal's Gene (I guess they're the same... btw I emailed Michael at Edible Landscaping in order to buy a Sal's, and he says he doesn't have any Sal's, but that what he thought was Sal's is really HC... so anyway it's on my wish list).
2. Sal's Corleone
3. Abruzzi
4. Violet de Bordeaux / Negronne (I'll order from UC Davis unless I find another earlier)
5. Any fig that's sure to have come from Calabria (Honoring ancestors, that sort of thing... particularly while Dad's around to enjoy it... he's the one who sparked my interest in figs).
6. Celeste (I'll order this one from UC Davis too, unless I buy or trade for one earlier).
And many thanks to the generous member who traded me some MVSB cuttings for Frank's Fig (my unknown, named for my dad who's been growing it for 46 years). I only have a few cultivars so far, and have read about so many that are of interest... particularly interested in cold hardy varieties.
