You guys were reading my mind, or maybe I was reading yours, I just sat down to share some pics from a couple of days ago :)
Things are going really well so far. I had an initial setback in that I couldn't directly root dormant cuttings out in my greenhouses (too wet and too cool). If a cutting was already off and running (roots and leaves), then it kept growing fine; but if a cutting was totally dormant, it just continued to stay that way. So I switched strategies and went back to my usual humidity bin method...and just got a lot more bins :) In total, I've currently got around 900 cuttings hatching in humidity bins and about 150 in cloners. Last week I moved the first 150 or so out of the bins and out to the greenhouses, since they had strong roots and leaves. Today I'm planning to move the next batch, probably another 100-150.
The cuttings have been popping like popcorn, it's been fun to watch. I'm very fortunate--the project is a lot of work, but it's so rewarding it doesn't feel that way.
I'll post some pics in a few minutes.
