That's for next season's orders, not for orders that were already placed.

The orders for $7 trees and the orders that were supposed to ship in Feb/March will be ready long before then.

Sorry about not being more clear there.

Hey James, thanks so much for such a great update!

James,

Thanks for helping the "easily confused" (myself).

Mike

Nice update, thank you for making the time for it, and showing all the rare cultivars for the "doubting thomas" types.

To everybody concerned about getting their fig trees, what do you think James is going to do with all of those fig trees? I have faith in James plan and do not mind the wait.

Hi James

Your r doing great job for fig lovers in getting their favourite variety in affordable price.

Thanks for update and great pictures. Wonderful seeing the thriving figs in your greenhouse. Helps us get thru cold winters eagerly awaiting spring and receiving our varieties from you. Thanks for your hard work.

When  the cuttings will be shipped?

I also paid for an order on Nov 2016. I have PM him on this and another forum several times. He has not responded to any of the them. I guess I will ask for a refund.

Try Harvey. I did. Got my order in a week.

please be aware that all "non-believers" will be publicly humiliated...then hung at dawn.

LOL Bamafig.
its pretty evident that James will deliver, so you folks who are patient just need to be patient longer. I asked for a refund, which James quickly granted. not because of doubt, but i went with other sources. i guess i am not patient.

I wouldn't say it's evident since not a single person has posted that they've gotten their order. I agree patience is needed.

Here's an email I just got.  I put in an order on the first day available.  I also asked him to wait until May as I have no winter safe room to put growing plants  :)

Hello fellow fig collectors :)

If you are receiving this email, then fig trees are ready to be shipped to you this week!  In order to help delivery go smoothly, please respond with the following answers:

1) Is this a good time to ship to you?  (we need to make sure your weather is warm enough, that you won't be gone on vacation, etc)

2) What is your current shipping address?  (we need to make sure that the address on file is current and correct)

Thank you all for your patience on this propagation project!

Best regards,
James/GreenFin

Darn, I got no email :(   I'm glad to see you got a more specific update.

I entered my order right at the beginning and have received no such email.  I will hazard a guess that my choice of trees has kept my order from being ready.

James, thanks so much, we are getting close to the time to receive our Plants! Yea Haww!! : )

Reading this whole thread has been an exercise in patience. I am new here, but pretty confident that James can deliver what he intends to. On a side note this is pretty much the exact path that any delayed Kickstarter board game thread goes. Half of the people are ready to sue and half are staunchly defending (it's bizarre). Anyways I plan to put in an order for 2 trees in the next few days. I just need to decide what to add. I live in 9a with hot and dry summers and have a VdB and a Panchee Tiger. If anyone has suggestions for what would work well in my climate and have excellent taste compatibility with what I already have I would appreciate it!

Have to check my E-mail when I get home.

Can't wait, I hope the mailing is getting past the original $7 trees.

Mike

I broke the pinkie toe on my right foot earlier this week, and it's really slowing me down.  It was a bad break (the doctor said it was "impressive"), and I can't walk on it at all, so I'm on crutches.  I've been trying to make do as best as I can, but all I can handle right now are the basic necessary chores (watering, venting tunnels, etc).  I didn't realize how much I walk each day and how much heavy stuff I usually carry around until I got hurt.

Some of you were due to receive orders this week, but it will have to be next week or the week after.  This is very frustrating, and I'm sorry for the further delay.

On the bright side, the plants are all growing great.  I'm excited to say that my big in-ground outdoor orchard (covered by all the new unheated tunnels) is already waking up, and should be bursting the seams of the tunnels by the time it's warm enough to take all the plastic off.  They're 2 months ahead of schedule compared to when my in-ground trees broke dormancy in past seasons.  The potted trees in those unheated tunnels are all starting to wake up now, too.
