Anyone have one of these. Apparently Thomas Jefferson grew them. Gotta have one now.
I am waiting on an Angelique myself... Have a connection just waiting for the phone call to go get it.
I think Jon might have a MDDS.Email him.I got mine as a cutting from him a couple years ago.
I have both. Neither have impressed so far.
I had the Madeleine des Deux Saisons (2006.RainTree).
Whoa, Jon and Gorgi--thanks for killing that lemming. Now can you do the same for my Marseille and Sal's Corleone lust?
I have to agree with Jon and George.Mine suffers from a real bad case of FMV.Don't think it made it through the winter. It's one of the three or four on their way to the garbage can.Sorry Ireiley,It's better to hurt you with the truth than to disappoint you with lies.
If the tree pulls through then I will do all I can to help rid the FMV issue.I guess by giving it some High Octane fertilizers and see.
I realize this is an old thread, but relevant coz of: http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post/id-please-tasty-but-fussy-has-arrived-with-a-bang-6498380. I have to say, if my ID of my unknown is correct, my experience of this variety is a mile away from those reported here. Which itself raises some doubt about my attempts at some DIY IDing. Drats - I had some real hopes that I was onto something here.@ Rafed - But before I give up completely on this ID, if your specimen survived, any chance you can post some pics of your dominant leaves? And did you ever get any ripe fruit out of it? If so, any pics, or at least a detailed description, might help me decide if I'm barking up the wrong (fig) tree.
