Krmk Dark fig - photos

Thank you ascpete.  I thought the best update I could give you would be some photos of the fig.

This is my first ever fig from a cutting I started (this winter).  From 32 oz deli containter to 3 gallon nursery pot this fig is happy in my backyard.  Had some moderate rain this morning and fig wasn't split early this evening when I picked it.  Thin skin, very slightly sweet and acidic, very slight strawberry flavor (or maybe I convinced myself that's what I tasted) and a few very small seeds that gave it a nice crunch.  Very happy with this tree and glad you found it Pete.  Can't wait for many, many more next year.

The white residue on the fig and leaves is dried latex from me picking off baby figs to keep the number on the tree to 2-3 this year.

oh. I had the sibbling tree and knocked the figlets it had. I am totally envious, now.  My one survivor is doing very well.  I pinched it and it formed me the 3 branching and they are growing nicely, perhaps I can do the final shaping next year.
