At the begining i didn't gave much importance to this fig,but now,after 3 years,is growing like a weed and producing big,sweet yellow figs.The ones in pictures are brebas,but we can see the main crop as well. Thanks for watching.

It is one of the few reliable figs here(Southern British Columbia, Canada), hardy too without any need for winter protection. My trees(2) have many big figs and soon yummie time. In terms of main crop, so far I am quite please that we get to harvest a good portion of it. The main crop is more productive.

I will be getting a large crop from my tree for the first time. I planted it in ground last year, it started producing figs but too late to ripen. Prior to that it just grew big, looking forward to my first taste, It is full of figs this year!

The Lattarula is probably identical to St. Anthony.

I'm told St Anthony has a light interior and a smaller fig, more in line with Lattarula. I have a young St Anthony's so will be able to compare in time.

What's the interior color of your Lattarula brebas and main crop? I've seen photos ranging from a clear yellowish to dark red.

If they are dark red, not a Lattarula. More likely Lattrolla

From Jon's variant description, it is suppose to be greenish yellow skin but pictures tells a different story -- it is dark. That said, I was once told St Anthony is very delicious and it is dark. I have a St. Anthony that has not given me fig for 3 seasons. Time will tell. Mine came from Encanto Farms. I think Mike from EL call his Lattarula "St Anthony".

Bob,mine has a clear yellowish interior,source is Raintree nurserie and is Lattarula.

In climates where the fig wasp is present Latarulla ,Can have amber interior for uncaprified fruits and dark brown interior for caprified fruits all on the same tree.

Wow, those look amazing! I cut my in-ground Latturula down to 3 feet last Fall and enclosed it inside a shrub jacket. Today, it's already 7 feet tall with plenty of figs. This is the only tree that was stripped of it figs last year by racoons. If I can remember correctly, mine has an amber center with a mild honey flavor. The leaves on my St Anthony looks different from my Latturula. Plus mine are dark green. I got my SA from Mr Watts. Interesting.
