Well, I don't feel quite so badly, seeing everyone else's winter projects, lol! Since I live in S. California, where we don't really have much of a winter, all my "projects" are outside. At one time, I had a very lovely outdoor kitchen area. Now, it has been taken over by figs, citrus and succulent projects:

As you can see, this is really nice place to hang out, but I've made it such a mess! My long-suffering, non-gardening husband it being extraordinarily patient with me. My project today: Get all this stuff down into my little greenhouse he and I built last year, that is just sitting, becoming a collecting place for trash. Here's the greenhouse at the end of my walk & pick stone/pome fruit orchard:

And, here is the mess I have to clean up:

And, here are some of the figs. My Sal's Corleone that I've just potted up (thank you, Al-northeastnewbie):

And a Ronde de Bordeaux that I rooted earlier this year that is still in the pot. Have to find the best spot in my garden for it:

:lus a Verdone (Strawberry) fig cutting start waiting to leaf out if we get a run of warmer temps:

If I can get all this down to my greenhouse, I might just get on Santa's good list, and off the naughty list, ho, ho, ho! I still need to get water and electricity in the greenhouse, a big deep stainless sink put in (going to check out a 2nd hand commercial kitchen place here where I live, to pick one up on the cheap), and screening put up on the roof, so it doesn't end up being an oven in the summer. No small task, but at least I have several months to get it done!
