My last 2 very good Excels were picked up today.
They probably needed another day or two but I am going out of town and didn’t want to take my chances with the squirrels. 
Very nice honeydew taste.

These are caprified and the seeds sink.
Is the color of the inside the same for the non-caprified Excels?

I have several Excels soon to be ready and your description sounds similar to Atreano.  Have you tried both?  If so, how do they compare?

Sorry, Frank, I do not have an Atreano. 
I was thinking to acquire one but at the end decided not to based on the space restriction of my city lot.
