I snapped a few pics out back today and thought I'd post them:
First, I didn't mention it in the title because, surprisingly, it still hasn't fruited yet although it's looking pretty healthy, but here's a Parfianka Pomegranate:
About 6 months ago, or so, I was complaining that my LSU Purple, which I had purchased as a tissue culture, seemed to be growing very slowly. Well, since then, it has absolutely taken off and is sprawling to about 3' wide and about 4'-5' tall. I've already harvested several ripe figs, which were very good in spite of it being a young tree:
Here's a nice cluster of Cajun Gold figs. These taste just like honey!
I have two bananas fruiting. First is a Williams Hybrid that started flowering about 45 days ago:
Next is one of the Dwarf Cavendish bananas that just started flowering within the last week or so:
I'll try to get more of the fig trees in the next post!
