Here's some figs that I picked this morning. Not a bad one in the bunch. Clockwise from the top is Ronde de Bordeaux, Takoma Violet, Violette de Bordeaux, and at 9:00 is Brooklyn White.

That's a great picture. Now I can see that RdB and VdB are indeed very different.

How much different did they taste? Or were they very similar?

Rich, You surely want both in your collection. They are different. Hard to describe, but RdB has a nice tang. If that's a way to describe a fig. Both have very rich and sweet flavors. VdB is more like eating some type of berry.

Great looking selection Art. I've only had a few breba so far - hopefully main crops will start to ripen soon.

My TV are very young yet , but I'm happy to see the fruit in pics!

JD, Those are on the smaller size. They are starting to ripen now. I will do a new post on it in the next few days.
