A Good Fig -- Rosetta Pic's(Up-dated, leaf pic's)

For 2 seasons I have been enjoying main crop figs from Rosetta. This tree came from a gentleman in Vancouver. Certainly yummy. Pot culture grown.

Looks delicious, what is your opinion on the taste?

Looking good!!!

Great looking fig, it looks like a keeper

Good looking fig Paul. You said it tastes good too. Also, it looks productive (at least at your place); a fig at every shown node. It has to be a keeper.
Enjoy Paul.

Nice tight eye, nice pics

Rosetta is a productive fig. This is the 3rd week I am enjoying them. It seems this variant would be ideal for many zones. It produces later than RdB, HC, Dark Portuguese but ripens main crop -- almost at the same time.  Just for gauging its taste, today I ate the following RdB, Rosetta, Malta Blk, Ginoso, Osborne Prolific, Abeberia, Hollier, Hardy Chicago and I would say Rosetta is preferred. It has nice seed crunch.

It looks very similar to ronde de Bordeaux. Can you show us the leaves?

How do you like Hollier compared to other honey figs, paully22?

I like Hollier -- sweet with a little pasty texture. Its best pot grown here. I have another Hollier in-ground and this season I ate very few figs from it. Productivity is excellent but most of its figs ruptured badly like a flower and the wasps bite them. This Sept is unusually wet. I have no problems with my potted Hollier. More Hollier ripening from my potted tree. It is a productive tree. My tree originated from Adriano via a friend here.

@ Bass, I will take pictures of both RdB & Rosetta leaves. They are grown less than 10ft apart. RdB is in ground and Rosetta in a pot.

This is a very nice fig !
I may grow/root one or two early next year.
