A Little Fun. ID these EATEN figs.

Rafed.

Sorry you feel sick.
Didn't know you had such a delicate constitution.
I think my image is beautiful.
"A gathering of the remnants of a meal well enjoyed "
I have tweaked the original photo and will contact a gallery to see if one can possibly display it.
I call it:   "A Still Life of Three Figs Enjoyed  "

Never know Nick,
You could make alot of money if it works out.

Good Luck

The one on the left looks artsy enough.  I wonder if anyone would know what the subjects are if they just saw them without the title??   Interesting effect you tweaked with though.

Well, we seem to have a winner!

Someone on this thread has won two fig trees.
As a secondary prize , I will give away yet another Fig tree from my prior
extra list ( After the winner picks the two they prefer )
And as promised, I am including a picture of what the figs looked like
before they became a sweet memory.
They may not be as exotic, uncommon and as incredibly juicy looking as Martin's
Figs. ;)
But they were figs that I grew with my own hands, with love and care.
first one to guess what they are and the correct answer posted within this thread
gets a free tree.

Nice job Sara, glad you won, you certainly tried the hardest!!

Thanks you all, I learned A LOT about figs while I was researching/confirming what I thought they were.  Reminded me of college when I had to identify an unknown organism from a petri dish....took me 10 weeks (after the lab assistant mistakenly destroyed my culture trays, along with 3 other's work), but I got my organism correct!!   Put my investigative skills to work and narrowed it down.  And thanks to Nick for not disqualifying me for putting my final three answers on the board...I was "into" this one if you could not tell!   And, I NEVER win anything!!  Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket.

A big THANK YOU to Nick for donating his extras.  Perhaps next season I may be able to do something similar, but not so visual.  :-)

Mr. Zilch bows down to greatness.  Congrats Sara!

@Caney...you're not Mr. Zilch, you've got all those great fig trees in the Nashville area to drool over.  I now keep binoculars in my car so I can hone in on what I think are fig trees....still have not found any except in my own yard. LOL
