Has anyone had contact with Andrew "Corpuscal" in FL. or know what became of him?  In Oct last year I gifted him a couple of 1 gal fig plants.  We had on-going communication  up until I sent the trees. He didn't answer my emails or acknowledge they arrived or a thank you.  He just fell off the map.  I didn't even have his whole name. Just  A. Andrew.

Sorry to hear that. It's the classic hit and run.
Sometimes it doesn't pay to be nice!

You don't know that kubota. Something could have happened to guy.

I remember a guy on GW forum waiting for the other guy to hold his end of the trade up (respected member)....they found his obituary a few weeks later online...

I think i remember that screen name now that you mention him again. Hopefully it wasnt a hit and run but then again hopefully nothing bad happened to him.
Hey soni, I sent you a pm the other day, did you get it? I noticed sometimes when i send a pm it doesn't go through unless I send it twice.

Looks like he was a 20 year-old student who was only active on the forum for a month:

Sorry to hear that. You just never know. I'd rather it be a hit and run than something happened to him- that's just me.

Very disheartening. Here I am growing figs for fun while he and probably many others out there are growing it because they need to. Makes me feel a little guilty.

The PM system on this board is notoriously horrible - in the past, many messages just didn't find their destination. It's better to send email if you have that option.
