A nice bunch

Today for the first time in a while I got to eat more than one fig. These are Conadria, and let me tell you, I ate 3 1/2 and Linda ate 3 1/2 as dessert after dinner and were plenty enough. There were very sweet and figgy, a great fig and a keeper. A big plus is the birds don't like green figs. Even if they peck them they move on.

Am I crazy for expecting them to be more red inside, like Adriatic or Calvert?

For some reason I thought they would be more juicy and red inside.

I am excited, my Conadria is about 5' tall and as thick as my thumb.  It should produce a fair crop next year.

Jason yours should give you a great crop next year. These came off my 2 year old tree. It grew one year in a pot and then I put in the ground last fall. The figs are juicier than the pictures show and they could have gone another day but I wanted figs. I left a couple on the tree to ripen more and compare, but no complaints from me on these.
