I finally got the Fig planted that was given to us. It sure looks beat up! The guy that gave it to us said he rooted it a year ago.
I bet it lived in the pot he gave us for the whole year. Even though it's ragged..it's still nice to have Figs growing at our place!

It looks like it has been through a hailstorm!  I'll bet it will start putting out good leaves now though - good luck.

Looks like you rescued it from a worse life, post a pic at the end of summer would like to see how it does...

Fertilize it.   Hope it's grateful and gives you lots of figs.

If Charlie Brown had a fig tree,I think it would look like that ;)

You might want to let it recover with some new leaves before you start feeding it fertilizer.

He didn't know what kind of Fig it was so it's a mystery Fig. I planted it with some Bone Meal & Blood Meal mixed in with a bag of composted Manure. 

There seems to be something about planting fig trees in the ground that really helps them along the road to recovery and growth....I had to stop inground planting because the winterizing was getting a bit overwhelming...but I do have 7 trees in the ground that are really loving life...good luck with your tree.
