A Plate of Goodness

A Persian White surrounded by delicious Sals Corleone. They were all good and each had honey with slight melon flavor.

nice!

Very nice are these grown in containers?

Pino, the Persian White is in a five gallon container that is buried about eight inches and heavily mulched.

The Sals Corleone is a four year old tree and it is planted in ground as of this spring.

Thanks for looking.

They look great!

Awesome looking :)

Nice! How was the Persian White fig? Everyone needs to have a Sal's Corleone. It's a workhorse fig

Wow, they look delicious!

Leon, it is a good fig and will only get better. Here is what I said in my July pic and taste profile. Also below is a link to that thread.

This is a large fig and it weighed in at 75.93G or 2.67 oz. The flavors appeared to have been affected by the rain. It was still a good honey dew melon like with just a little seed crunch. It is a little figgy tasting. Another one of those that is a keeper just for it being rare and pricey.
