A productive fig tree

I was very surprised that my 4 years old fig tree is so productive, putting so many figs on one single branch.I counted at least 150 figs today.Could anyone guess who this winner is?    Marius

Very nice, I have been wanting this variety and now I think I actually need it...

You Welcome Marius:
You know I was telling you that in my Garden it was only average tasting, while in my Father garden in Europe it was very good tasting.
My Conclusion is that the climate in my neck of the woods is very unfavorable to ripe fig tree.
Here in some years even Violette de Bordeaux split like an open flower with three or four petals, and taste very Bad.In other years it is very good tasting, just like in other locations, where people rave about it,so yes it is the climate ,that counts beside the cultivar.

Thanks for mine, Marius.  1 rooted almost immediately and 1 sat for 3 months and just yesterday had roots (3 days before none).

Herman, what's the difference between your and your father's climate?  Longer summer, hotter temps, different humidity?

1/3 less annual precipitation, with much less rain at ripening time, and lower humidity too.
Winter is colder but the fig takes it just fine there.
That makes better fruits in Europe.
