I bought it as Sal's (Gene).   I thought that blood red tip was worth a look.

That is cool looking!! Does it always come out red like that on new growth?

Only the top growing tips that are exposed to the bright light.  Lower shoots have about 1/4 of the red.  

Took this one today.   I liked it because I thought the spider contrasted the unfolding VDB leaves well.
