Abebereira breba pics

I thought I'd share a few photos of my 1st Abebereira breba. I've been watching it for a few days, and touched it to see how soft it might be getting, and of course, it dropped off. Hi Paul, the crop last year was excellent, though I can't compare with Preto or Branco yet. My Abebereira is in a large container. I've now started a layer from it, which is in ground. My Preto and Branco are also in ground, and will produce figs for the first time this year. I have a collection of Portuguese varieties, thanks mostly to Harvey, and look forward to comparing them. This year I should get to try Black Madeira, Preto, Figo Branco, White in White Madeira, Capelas, Carvalho, Mel do Algarve, Lampeira, and a few more. I'll let you know how they compare.
