added bonus when buying a fig tree

So I was out today visiting all the local nurseries today seeing if there was anything interesting.  Loved going through the citrus section since they were all in bloom.  Stopped by to see some rather nice large fig trees for sale.  $30-40, yikes but some were putting out figs already.  The usual Celeste, Brown Turkey, TX Everbearing, Mission, and a little unusual Black Jack.  This guy was hitching a ride on a TX Everbearing if I remember correctly.  Some lucky person is getting an added bonus when they buy that tree.  Wonder how many people went by and never noticed?

Oh, and I didn't adopt any fig trees but I did get a Cogshall mango.

Ha!  He's definitely trying to blend in!
I went to Southern States today and they had 3 year old Celeste and Brown Turkeys for $28 a tree.

Wow...talk about camoflage...Steve, you are probably the only one to see it...good eyes !

A great buy that Cogshall mango. They have a sweet taste reminiscent of a sweet, light pineapple. One thing to remember (I grow them) they ripen from the inside out, so if you wait, like for the other mangoes, it will be over-ripe. The tree gets to about ten feet and here in Florida it is a very good producer. The taste is excellent but is not commercially produced because the skin in thin and it does not ship well.
Nice picture

Fantastic picture, that is one happy relaxed frog.

Wow! a Florida species of frog in Texas!
I saw a frog exactly like that one once,
It was residing on a 12 foot round Giant Staghorn fern that came in from Florida
to the greenhouse I worked at in Richmond, VA some 35 years ago.
It ended up being the company's mascot, and never left that fern in the 5 years I worked there.
Visiting kids always looked to see if they could find where he was hiding.
Thanks for sharing the picture! A Happy Memory! :)

This guy will do good job to control ants, wasp, and fly.
