Recently noticed that Adriano's website is no longer up.  Anyone know why. It had a lot of useful information about different varieties and I miss it.

Sorry I am no help....but I was wondering the same Angela. It has been down for over a week.  I was thinking of planning a trip in the spring to meet the man and drool over what he has. I hope everything is OK.

I met him in July. We had a very nice discussion. I had to invite myself over because he rarely answers email. He had tons of potted trees in his back yard. Very nice man. I don't want to speculate about it, but it looked like a lot of work for his age and the shape he was in. I hope he's ok.

I have a phone number for him but have never met him. I'm not sure how I'd feel calling out of the blue. I'm going to reach out to someone who may know.

I last heard from him via email in the fall when he finished putting his trees away for the winter.

Thanks everyone.  I would love to be able to see him and his large collection next year.  

Just heard back from a mutual friend. Adriano is fine. The site is being refurbished. His figs are well too.....
