I was given a cutting last fall from a grower in the Niagara area and he said the variety was Adriatic. It grew well and produced a single fig that I just could not bring myself to remove. It ripened just over the last few days since I put this one in the greenhouse a few weeks ago.Sorry I forgot the coin as a reference for size but the fig was large at about 3" long by 2" wide. The egg shape puzzled me if indeed it was an Adriatic. I was thinking it looked similar to a stella maybe?? Any thoughts??It tasted very good. My favorite so far but being so new at this hobby I haven't tasted many yet lol.

tylerj: Your fig is not Adriatic fig. It looks more like Stella. Best,Tam
Thanks Tam.. .that's what I was thinking.
Yes Dalmatie type fig, same as Stella,a super fig when ripe in proper conditions.Last year I had ,top notch tasting fruits, but this year not as good, due to climate problems.
Tyler, hard to be disappointed if it looks good and tastes good
