Adriatic/Strawberry

Here are some pictures I refer to as my Adriatic?(that's my best guess) Those of you that have it or have had it, does this look right? This tree grew at my parents house along with the Celeste when I grew up.. I started this from a cutting probably 8-10 years ago. Ripens over a long period(my Mother just called it Everbearing, starting appx. 1 month after Celeste starts. Anyway splits and sours if too much rain, but wonderful tasting fig when dry. Can take some rain without problem. Does have a very few brebas, but they always fall off early. Thanks for any help. FMV free.

Wow!  Tim!  How bout those figs!!!  Man, those figs look great!  And that tree looks awesome!  Is your tree in full sun?  Dennis

Hey Tim lovely looking plant you have there. A fellow forum member gave me a cutting labeled strawberry this fall leaves are Identical to yours maybe in the future we can compare when my plant actually has figs.

Nelson & Dennis, thanks for the comments. I'll look forward to being able to compare and possibly get a positive I.D. Yes the tree is in full sun and I didn't mention that it is a dwarfish tree. 8-10 years old and never been pruned, so that ought to tell you something. No more than 6' tall, 10-12' wide & bushy.

If  anyone would like wood in December, I can fix you up. You might(probably will) have to remind me,lol! I'm hoping I can get the same taste out of the JH Adriatic, without the splitting & souring. Time will tell. I'm sure it would perform perfectly in drier climates. I'll probably keep it though just because my parents had it.(Good memories).
