Airlayer Made Easier

If you were like me when I attempted my first airlayers on hydrangeas years ago, you may have said that is too complicated. Well, here is an airlayer of Baskinta Purple in three easy steps. I am using a Rooter Pot and its associated top, a small Q cube and the black sticker that comes with each Rooter Pot. All from   http://www.kinsmangarden.com/
If you find that you do not like the black sticker which I did, I use some dark gray or black Duct Tape. Based on a couple using Root Riot Cubes in the place of the Q cube, I should some roots in about 14 days.

i use simple method. score the area for the root, then grab a handful of soil mix in plastic wrap and wrap it around the scored area.. seems to work for me. tho your look much neater :)

Everyone has a different way. I use foam cups.

Yep, they all get the same results. We hope. LOL
