Aked / thin-lobed figs?

Is "Aked" an open-eyed fig, and does it need pollination?
-- And what about it's quality?

Also, what are some nice, closed-eyed varieties with thin-lobed leaves? Here in SE TX, the fruits sour and make a mess if open-eyed or if the eye isn't plugged by fig-honey like with "Alma".

-- I know about "Negronne", but also wonder about others, especially if rich & juicy, and preferably with very dark interiors/exteriors.
-- Thanks.

Well,
-- Drought & heat-tolerance.
-- It's different, here.
-- Intrigueing looks.
-- Low-maintenance (less watering).
.... I noticed how a nice fig tree I have that has huge leaves was wilting, daily, during times of heat & low-rainfall, the past few years.  Twice, it dropped its fruit.  I'm guessing a thin-lobed leaf might work better without having to water it so much during the summer.  Problem is, most thin-lobe-leaved figs seem to be open-eyed, and those kind sour due to bugs getting into them here.  That makes for a stinky, nasty mess.

Does anybody have any experience with the variety "Aked"?
-- Maybe seen the tree or fruit, tasted it, or maybe heard about it from a friend?  I'm interested in knowing more about it but haven't found much on the net.  Thanks.
-- I did just see the info on the link from this site for it, and I also noticed the moderator has it for sell.  Great!
