Since I had another fig from this tree and it has potential, I started a thread. I received cuttings of this fig on 25 February 2011 (Thanks Jose). The very first fig that ripened on 22 October 2011 had issues and appears in the first five images. The next fig and last fig of the 2011 season ripened on 3 November 2011 and its pictures are the last three attached.

First fig of 2012. It was just okay likely because it ripened soon after TS Debby romped through the Panhandle.It has potential but I am not sure if it is better than Atreano. I want to taste a few dead ripe figs before developing any opinions.

In 2014, it is still ugly but getting better.

 

Ugly is okay, never heard of this variety, nice, even the eye looks okay.

JD, I'm about ready to let mine go.  It just does not taste that great in my climate.
