Almost Eden - extremely poor service to the little guy.

I was wanting a Danny's Delight fig for sometime. I ordered one January 20th from Almost Eden and they took my money and today informed me that they sold my plant to somebody else. I guess they couldn't wait as my zone requires such late delivery. I could have picked this up elsewhere, and so now lose a years growth. I will never do business with them again.
Now I suppose they will screw my refund up as I promised to write a review here.
Obviously customer service sucks there. If you have a small order, you will be forgotten. What a huge waste on my time. DO NOT TAKE ORDERS YOU CAN"T FILL! ARGH!!!!

if you did it with paypal  they will give you your money back     credit cards will reverse charges.   

OK, so the plant was lost among thousands I guess, I just got unlucky and was venting. I will do business with them again. Stuff happens, just a little unlucky.
Yes, I will maybe ask for him just to send the plant next year.

I purchased 4 plants from Almost Eden and had no issues even with special orders, such as holding on to plants and shipping at later dates.  Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, but John has always treated me well and I felt like I was receiving personalized service.  Hopefully he will do right if you give him a second chance.

Yes, I will! I was too harsh for sure. It was just a bit of bad luck!  He said he will send a DD plant eventually, that works for me.
