Anyone know how tolerate Fig trees are to Aluminum toxicity?  I need the immediate action of the Aluminum but I am not sure about the toxicity of the Aluminum. 

There are better ways to lower pH if that's what you're looking for. Use vinegar for temporary effect or sulfuric acid for permanent. The auto supply stores sell 33% sulfuric for batteries. Sulfur is easier to use but takes months.

I'd not use Al on any plant. Even acid loving. And figs aren't acid loving.

Are you using Aluminum on edible plants ?
I read Aluminum was bad for us humans ( some concerns on some vaccination containing aluminum salts as additives that triggered bad diseases on patients ).
IMO, Aluminum won't be toxic for the fig trees ... but to the figger, that might be another topic ...
If you're not concerned about edible fruits, than take a guinea pig fig tree and see was it does.

I use a PH lowering liquid sold at hydro stores to bring my water PH down from 8.0 into the 6 to 6.5 range. It only takes a tiny amount (less than a shot glass). Be very careful with this stuff it will burn you bad. For all my container plants and my small trees I fill 55 gallon blue barrels let them sit overnight so most of the chlorine and fluoride have dissipated adjust PH and water. I also use dechlorinated water in my compost pile.
