Marius

It's good to see Florea is doing well for you. I've got a very small tree of this one. Hopefully it will put on some better growth this year.

I also have a small Salem white. I saw you mention that one in another thread. What  zone are you growing these in?

Hi Bill,i'm in zone 6,about 25 miles south of Cleveland,Ohio.

I don't recall if I heard you say that before or not - maybe I did? I was born in Akron. In one of my older books you would be in zone 5. But I guess some of the newer info does put you in zone 6.

Either way, it's good to see you having success that far north. What has been your winter arrangement for your trees?

Bill,i got these figs in 20 and 30 gal pots.Marius

Marius, can you describe the flavor profile?

Herman, does not think it is a great tasting fig in New Jersey.

So, I'm trying to figure out how far west does one have to go to get Florea to produce great tasting figs?

Can you also describe the sweetness level on a scale of 1 to 10?

Thanks

Bob

It's sweet enough,but more watery,a 7 out of 10.Marius
