Black Rei

Capri Q (Persistant caprifig ordered from Davis)

I have a number of smyra figs and need to get a capri to host the wasps.

Sue

I'll stick with two:

Black Madeira
Sequoia (yeah, yeah, I know, just that I want a descendant of Calimyrna more than Excel/Jurupa)

X  got it! (Caprifig "Gillette")
Caprifig "Enderud"
X  got it! (Nero 600M)
Valle Negra
X  got it! (Hanc's EBT)

  • BLB

Geez I have so many now, but there are a few that I'd still like to try;

Galacia negra (trade pending)
Maltese Beauty
Paradiso Bronze
Macool

Here's my 6...

Black Madeira (really really want this one)

Long d' Aout

(Updated on 8/22/2013)

Wish List is:

Violette de Bordeaux
Ronde De Bordeaux

I myself have fig trees but none that are large enough to supply cuttings from.

What I have is:
Brunswick
Texas Everbearing
Dottato
Jurupa
Brown Turkey
Marseilles Blk
Conadria ???
Dauphine

i compiled new list.. but the names are not really in my head yet. i think the problem is i can't seem to pronounce them. x)

Somehow I missed adding to this list.  I had most of these but lost them during the moves which finally led to our "forever" home:

1. Smith
2. VdB
3. Malta Black (the one on the list I have never owned)
4. Hollier
5. Ischia Black
6. Ischia Green

*  I really don't kill figs easily.  The five above were just unfortunate circumstances of two moves, and then a pack of rodents that stripped trees to the soil.  They weren't really "under my watch" at the time... I can "create" more excuses if needed.  ;)

I'm very excited about all the figs that I have now, but here are a few that I would like to add:

Pananas Purple*
Pane e Vino Dark*
LSU Scott Black *
De la Reina
Bourjassotte Grise
Violet Sepor

It is alot of fun to look at this list and see how many figs are out there, what people have, and what is popular right now.

You guys in Northn America are so lucky to be able to have such lists that are real possibilities. Due to our quarantine regulations (which I strongly support), we can only dream about such lists in Australia. Good luck to you all!

Florea
