Let's bring on that figgy pudding! Haha! (Ive always wanted to try that)

Bump needed since there have been almost 100 newbies since last post !
And also the middle of the pruning season in the cooler zone; plants already stored for winter in the colder zones after the bonus warm November days.

1) Black Madeira (a BIG, BIG, BIG Thank You to Figgary & to OttawanZ5!)

2) Sweet Joy
3) Sicilian Red
4) Italian 258
5) Sanguinato (only cuz I read it here & its rare)

Edit: When I originally posted this wish list I was expecting to have people PM me with offers to sell me cuttings. Instead I received a PM from Figgary who didnt even want me to pay for postage! I have no big fig trees to cut from but I will surely pay this forward in some way!

A heart felt THANK YOU to Figgary!

Even if a miracle happens I'd still be willing to allow you to pay just shipping, I have done that for many other people already and usually do not mind doing that, most of what I have I paid only shipping for, one I bid on a auction to help pay for the place that was rented out for a fig gathering, and some I even got totally free, I have been so lucky I like to make others feel lucky as long as I am not being used. With a thread like this I can not be used, when I have surplus of cuttings that I need to get rid of and I offer them to others I could not be used.

Hi, I am new and  I live in zone 8b, Tallahassee, Florida. Right now I have western light, and some bright filtered shade to work with, at least in November, thanks to a very tall live oak. There's also the expected  heat and humidity. My fresh fig experience is limited to the grocery store. I really enjoyed mission, especially when soft and slightly wrinkled.  I would love suggestions. Thanks, Jamie

I have been doing a lot of reading on where I live and on fig flavors. I would like to start with  VdB, JH Adriatic, Chicago Hardy,  or if I"m really dreaming anything CDD, but would be tickled with anything rich and delicious.
