another one to look foward too--vasilika sika

This is another fig that I look foward to in the up coming years, I put this young vasilika sika in ground this past spring and one fig made it to ripeness. This isn't the same vasilika sika with the Stella/Dalmatia type leaves, this one comes from herman2  (thanks vasile). The taste was really good, rich and sweet, not honey and I look forward to this tree as I'm sure they will get better.

Looks good.  I have a young plant and will look forward to figs next year.  How would you say it compares to other top green figs with red pulp like Ischia Green/Verte, Battaglia Green, Adriatic JH, CdDB, etc?

This is the one from greece you have.

Yes Richie that's the one. Steve, to be honest I haven't tasted many green figs with red interior, my cddb, verte, and Adriatic JH are still small so I haven't tried them yet. This is a good fig but sorry I can't make the comparison.

Congrats. It is different from Jon's too. I got mine from Jon and it resembles Stella.

Thanks paully, I don't know how much the figs differ from mines to yours, the only thing I know for sure is that this one doesn't have long lobes on the leaves. I remember herman2 making a thread about it a while back, I'll try to find it.
