Another Spanish fig I saw (and ate) near Malaga in southern Spain. Was wondering if anyone is familiar with this one? It was a medium sized (IE slightly larger than a golf ball) black fig with a very thin skin and fragile; also, the figs detached easily from the tree when ripe. Figs were dark on the bottom and transitioned to red near the stem. There really wasn't any green near the stem from what I could tell. It had some small voids in some figs but they mostly had a solid interior. Sweet flavor but not overly complex. The ostiole seemed to occasionally split on the tree and the figs had some cracks when ripe. Leaves were a mix of 3 and 5 lobes...but primarily 3. Tree itself was HUGE.
