Any extra cuttings or plants of Havasu Purple for sale?

I got a cutting of Havasu Purple from Centurion but it didn't make it.  Any one have an extra, rooted or not they don't want?  Please PM me.  Thanks.

Bob...I also lost my Havasu Purples this winter...they rooted and went into cups, but when I up potted to 1gal. trade pots they all died...I probably over watered and drowned them...hope you find some cuttings, and that they make it for you.

Aw.  You guys.....Yer killin me.

My big tree froze to the ground, as did the little one in my hedge, or I'd cut you some right now.  PM me again in the Fall and I will send you some more.

Has anybody had success rooting them?   I'd sure like someone to come up with an ID.

Try Driveway Farmer....he might have some....he has quite a variety.

Dave, I have one that I grafted onto a local variety that clinging for dear life, all others were sad and did not make. I wonder if this havasu isn't the Black Fig 1 (DFIC 147) it sounds like it could be.  This raising from sticks in winter is bad idea. I hope I can do better when weather improves here.

I know you would.  You already did.  I hope this tree doesn't become an endangered species.

Still going. The bigger one is near going to a pot, maybe one more week. The little one was stuck for a bit but has come out of the funk and growing roots again, it's about to push out another leave.

Way to go Calvin!   The leaves do tend to droop like that.  My potted one indoors is doing that right now also.

Just got in from covering a bunch of trees.  Temps are forcast for 36 tonight...which means it may freeze here.

Bob,

Eventually you should be covered. I won't promise anything yet because until they are in a gallon pot or larger and thriving I don't count them as "for sures" they are still "should bes".

Strong work, Calvin!  Thanks for thinking of me.  That's all I can hope for  :)  No matter what I hope yours thrive.

Dave, this is the only cutting I have left from the VDB and Havasu. From the pics above from Calvin, my cutting is apparently the one that got mixed
up and it must be a VDB not Havasu.

Doesn't look like Havasu, Mike.

My in ground Havasus  died to the ground this year.  One of the Havasu's is making a come back, so there may be cuttings available next year.   But no brebas for me this year.

The tree thrives in extreme heat, but when it freezes, it needs to be indoors or wrapped and covered.
