Wish I was there with you.  Make sure you get to go to Guavate for the garlicky, Lechon, broiled over a charcoal fire!  It is 'slap-yo'-mama' delicious, but, reserve a good, by-pass Surgeon, in advance.  I could just taste that shiny, crispy, pork rind....

Can't help you regarding figs in Puerto Rico, but check into the Govardhan Gardens web-site.  Maybe you'll hit pay-dirt.

Thanks guys, I have a lead on citrus cutting so far for tomorrow and am following up on a fig lead. I hadn't thought about mangosteen but heck if I can grab a few cuttings and pack a root riot tray that'll be a lot of fun.
