Any Idea?

Will someone please tell me what type of a fig this guy has gathered? I really want to plant that type. I know I found this in one of the posts in the forum...

here's a you tube clip , i think it's the same fig that Kevin is eating in the video clip, he answered me saying it was a Adriatic variety and it's his personal favorite. he gets them from his local farmer friend. I'm jealous!

Not sure what it is. Someone may know here.

Look at the man's face. It looks like he bit on a sour lemon. Are you sure you want something like that.

I want those figs, LOL... I've seen them in market in greek islands but never had them because they would always be too expensive. I admit the guy is not a super model but he's a guy, those figs...mmmm-m!

What i call a paleface fig.
Come to the darkside.

Those look like the "Great Big Green Fig" or GBGF for short
Please sent me 20 fresh cuttings from this tree to make sure my naming is correct
I can trade you several of the rare and hardy "Calliope's Red Greek Fig" from the Sparta region of Greece.
:)

I want a legit name guys. I need something to research on so i can purchase. Then I can give away cuttings.
I'm obsessed about it.

Desert King?

I believe it is too big for Desert King. Could be a Desert Emperor.

Ficus Carica "Popeye"
Ak-ak-ak-ak-ak

Maybe ask the guy in the photo ?

Aaron, the pic was in this post titled My Best Pacific NW Fig, it sounds like an unknown that the post author thought was Dottato.

Thanks ED, I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORT, ONCE AGAIN;)

I do not see a photo

Looks to me like Ficus carica (Atreano) but may just be a bad guess.

Fat Green Turkey. i bet i can throw it as far as a Brown Turkey.

i don't think it's Pingo del Mel. all the pix i've seen of PdM is different from above. it's more of GMO lime/fig cross.

LOL... it's a Frankenstein fig, still, I want it!   >:(

Those figs are Desert King, Breba.
The fig tree is in the background and the leaves are ,totally representative of the Desert King cultivar.
In warmer climates the fruits are ,more yellowish but the fruits in this case ,are harvested a little earlier,or the climate do not permit ,a better coloration.

Willi's Orchard website tells me this is Conadria... check the pic.
