That is a Breba flower fig,and not a fruit fig.
Only main crop are considered fruits.
Breba fruits are large and many cultivars have large Breba and much smaller main crop fruit.
On such trees usually Breba (Flower)do not taste much compared to main crop fruits.
It is very hard to ID looking at a Breba fig,so when main crop comes up then it will be much easier.

go4broek this fig is actually in my yard in a 65gallon pot. I have no problem sharing cuttings even if you have nothing to trade.

Ken,  a ripe one reminds me of Italian honey though drastically less sweet.
