Anybody recognize these leaves? Update w/ fig pics.

I found this tree at the end of the summer. The only thing the owner could tell me was he got two trees in payment for some construction work he did. A dark and a white. They were planted beside each other. So they grew together. I got a few cuttings. Any ideas?

leaves are some what similar to RdB.. i'm not good at plant id.

Art, those leaves could be Valle Negra, could be Aubique Petite, could be some other variety.  They look nice anyway!

Brunswick ?

I have a larger start under some lights. I hope to get an early start for next year. Maybe I will get a fig and figure it out.

Looks like the Brunswick - but yours are lighter green - that is a good fig though! Nice finding there Art.

You could have found a petit negri, look at Bass's pics:

I have an unknown white fig that has similiar leaves. I hope they are different.

Grasa, there's some confusion regarding Petit Negri and Aubique Petit.  Apparently a few nurseries were selling AP but naming them PN for a long time.  But they're two different varieties with some history.  According to Vasile (aka Herman2), the fig that Bass's picture shows in that thread is really AP.  Here's a link to another thread that discusses some of the same issues, with pics showing some AP / PN discussion:

(Look at the pics on the second page of that one).  I should probably go link those two threads together (cross post), so that anyone finding one of the threads also finds the other one too (i.e. just link them for reference).

Well after a couple years, here is a breba. It was well worth the wait. Nice and sweet for a breba.
Still not sure what it is. It's hard to tell by the pictures, but the fig is a yellowish green. It could be Conadria?
