anyone else growing BC#93?

i'll try to post the pix later. however, i would like to ask on growing habbit and health of the BC#93. it's not a bad looking tree, but the trees seems very "weak". just by brushing against the terminal bud, i broke it twice. it's healthy enough it's keep putting out new bud right next to it. also some of the leaves are very misshaped, but that could be due to not getting water or nurtient.. or maybe FMV.

anyone growing one and have any information?

I been looking for a one that was actually picked up from the nursery and have yet to after several years posting.
There is one floating around forum and it all leads back to 1 source who got it from a stranger in a trade passed it around and since sold theirs.

I had to pass on it not knowing it was actually what it was stated since it was basically hearsay from a stranger , never saw one that actually came from the nursery nor any pictures taken from the nursery of said plant .

martin,

yupe. i saw your posts. i just exchanged an email with another member. i think his source is same as mine. his tree is doing lot better than mine, but the leave shape is same. hopefully we'll see a fig sometime soon.

I have bc #39

which one is #39?

Scilian Black (Sal's) is BC #39

celt, your leaves don't look distorted. mine is more like jason's. i'll get a good pix tomorrow. it's really distorted. i'm hoping it will grow out of it, but i'm keep knocking off the terminal bud.

Mine is around 5' tall. A excellent tasting fig!

dennis, can you post pix of your tree?

Correct, bellclaire 39 is one they named as sal's or black Sicilian.

Snaglpus- Is your source the same as everyone else? A member with initials JZ. He was trading 2 winters ago.

as promised, here is my BC#93 pix. you can see the missing terminal node on the middle branch. there is tiny new bud coming out.

Wait a minute!!!:
Is it (dyslectic)  BC 93 (unique) or BC 39 (HC type)?
{sadly, my first line stands for both...}
